My instant reaction to "Sou" was that it was a slurred pronunciation of "soul" which made me think of...you guessed it, soul music. But the cover picture and album title have forced me to drop that idea in the trashbin.
Perhaps a collection of international folk or popular music based around a common theme? This is a tough one.
With a name like Sou, it should be some sort of weird, avant-garde band with world-music flavor and random snippets of conversation in other languages.
I'm totally feeling that. They even have a track entitled "20 Seconds of Rest in the Higher Mid-Asia", which is exactly that. 20 Seconds of rests - but it in no way has anything to do with Asia.
