Happy Times
Well, today is a time for rampant celebration!
People will be yelling in the streets and playing loud music from their cars.
Their cars, with flags attached for today only.
And everyone will drink an absolute ton of alcohol.
That's right, it's the Fifth of May or as another small but rapidly growing demographic like to call it:
Rali and Art's first year anniversary.
Don't ask me why everyone is saying it in Spanish though, we had the wedding in Hawai'i, as you all know. They should be learning it in Hawai'ian or Pidgin, at the very least.
Oh, and if you do put a flag on your car, try to keep it in the color scheme we had at the wedding: you know, purple, black, white, and silver. There was never any red or green.
I don't know who's spreading this rumor but they obviously weren't with us at the ceremony. Maybe they're bitter at not being invited or something.
Anyway, many thanks to the millions of people celebrating in their unique and seemingly unrelated ways; we are very glad to be able to look back on one year of lovely memory already and can't wait for many more to come.

I celebrated with a very messy burrito...but then I doubt you had those at your wedding. Unfortunately it was all my local cafeteria had to offer in way of celebration. No poi, no meat rolls, no fish fresh from the sea. Nothing remotely Hawaiian in nature.
In any case congratulations on your first year together and best wishes on your next few. We'll see you up here soon.
